funeral

An effective eulogy does not happen in just a blink of an eye. Few of us have time to learn how to write a eulogy in advance.

Just sit down and write from your heart. It requires that you sit down and think about the person who has passed on, and decide on the traits and stories that you want to share about their life. Don't be daunted by the task, just take these simple steps for a sincere and moving last farewell.

Having very definite ideas on what they want, they leave detailed instructions on how they wish to be honored. Eulogies are meant to convey the reasons the deceased will be missed and how much he was loved. Typically, a eulogy runs around five to ten minutes in length.

You can include poems, quotations or passages from the Bible, when appropriate. Your love for the deceased person will be felt by the people who are listening to your speech.
