ashby funeral home

To prepare a eulogy, you will need to be well prepared. The eulogy allows family and friends to say goodbye to their loved one and acknowledge the gift they shared in being touched by his life.

Going through some of the funeral poems with friends and family members really helps, some of the poems may make you laugh because they are such the complete opposite of the person you've just lost that you have a good laugh about it. Just sit down and write from your heart. You can feel free to draw on the thoughts of a large group of people for their recollections, feelings and opinions, and speak on their behalf as well as expressing your own personal thoughts.

Give them a copy of your eulogy. Your loved one is at home. You only have one chance to collect everyone s memories.

It is a tribute, do it justice. It is a wonderful idea to include any major achievements that occurred during the person's lifetime.
